WHAT WE DO
ONLINE SUPPORT
STANDARDS

Online support through FB, text and/or email is always open, No question is too big, too small or too silly. Therefore any concerns you may have be it training, racing or what you should be wearing or eating please ask away.

We are currently not taking on any new members but as the older kids move spaces may become available.

 

In order to make the group manageable we have basic minimum standards that must be met. Juniors: 1km in 3.40. 5km in 22:00 or under.

Seniors: 1km in 3:20. 5km in 21:00 or under

If you are not quite up to these standards yet we can set you training to do at home in order to help you reach the required standards.

Depending on the time of year we meet as a group 3 to 5 times a week at various locations north of Cairns.

 

We support all school races and our aim is to get you to at least Peninsula standard in order for you to compete at State XC, T&F and/or Triathlon.

 

We try to support as many local races and events as possible.

 

With a goal in mind, training is set accordingly, no stone is left unturned.

EXPECTATIONS

We understand you may not be able to make all training sessions however as we are trying to make you be the best runner you possibly can be we expect if you can't make it to training that you do it from home.

 

Good sportmanship is always expected. Win or lose we expect each and everyone of you to be encouraging and suppportive to one another
